This pair of pooches are going viral for their long-distance bond

A pair of pooches carrying on a long-distance romance has some people jealous of how intense their bond seems to be.

A video of Rollo and Sadie seeing each other over FaceTime had viewers howling.

Sadie, a husky and German shepherd mix, and Rollo, a rottweiler shepherd mix, met during the pandemic when their owners moved into different apartments in the same house in the Canadian city of Edmunton.

"Sadie's never been the biggest fan of other dogs when she met Rollo she whined and cried and laid on her back like she'd just met the love of her life," said Kayla McTeer, Sadie's owner. "Every time they see each other he goes insane."

But then Rollo's owner moved three hours away for a job opportunity. Now, the dogs FaceTime every week so the dogs can see each other.

Those calls are reunions for two pairs of best friends — the owners and the dogs.

Someday, the owners hope to move closer to each other again, but until then, Sadie and Rollo will have to stay in touch virtually.
