Student found with gun and bullets at high school in Tuscaloosa County

An investigation is ongoing after a student was secured with a gun and a loaded clip on the campus of Hillcrest High School Wednesday.The gun was not loaded and no one was injured, Principal Jeff Hinton said in a news release.Stay up-to-date: The latest headlines and weather from WVTM 13 Someone reported seeing a firearm on campus, which allowed the school resource officer and administrators to secure the student and locate the firearm, the principal said.
