BUT OVERALL, AGAIN, THE CHANCES FOR RAIN THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS PRETTY SLIM IF YOU FIND YOURSELF UNDER A SHOWER, YOU’RE GOING TO BE ONE OF THE FEW THAT GETS WET THIS EVENING. 81 CULLMAN, 89, IN TUSCALOOSA, 86, BIRMINGHAM, 83 DEGREES IN GADSDEN WILL GENERALLY SEE THESE HIGH TEMPERATURES THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS, PEAKING IN THE MIDDLE 80S. A SMALL CHANCE FOR A SHOWER ISOLATED IN NATURE OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS. WE’RE DRY OVERNIGHT TONIGHT, PARTLY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND LOW TEMPERATURES THAT MAYBE ARE A FEW DEGREES COOLER THAN WHERE THEY WERE THIS MORNING. WE’LL GET DOWN INTO THE MIDDLE TO UPPER 60S IN MOST SPOTS EARLY TOMORROW, 84 TOMORROW AFTERNOON, 84 AGAIN, FRIDAY NEAR 83 OR 84 FOR HIGHS THROUGH THE UPCOMING WEEKEND. RAIN CHANCES LIKELY TO HIGHEST AS WE MOVE INTO SATURDAY. WE’RE WATCHING LEE STILL A VERY STRONG HURRICANE SLOWLY NOW MOVING NORTH THROUGH THE OPEN WATERS OF THE ATLANTIC. The best chance for rain will be for areas south of Interstate 20.Temperatures will be near average for the rest of the week. The airflow around that high allows a small surge of Gulf moisture north into Alabama on Friday, and the increased moisture means a chance of some scattered showers and storms. A few of them could impact high school football games this week.
