Over 58,000 pounds of ground beef recalled due to E. coli concerns

Yeah, ground beef can be especially dangerous. Now, if you're buying steak, *** lot of the bacteria lives right on the surface. As soon as you put it down on the grill or cook it, it's going to get rid of it, cook it right off. But with ground beef in the grinding process, the bacteria permeates almost all of the ground beef, it's everywhere. So as soon as you buy ground beef in the store, swing by the produce section, get an extra produce bag. You know, one of these right there at the store before you even put the meat in your cart, put it in like this. So that way if there are any extra juices sitting around in it, it's not gonna get into your other food. Then when you get home, grab *** zip lock or another name brand, save some money. See previous Rosson report, stick it in and freeze it like this or put it in your fridge like this. So it's double protected. Now, if any of the juices get all over your counter, I know *** lot of you grab the sponge and you do that. No, you don't want any bacteria on your sponge. So if that happens, use *** paper towel to wipe it up and then throw it out.
