Multiple generations of graduates connect during Ramsay's reunion

Church service kicks off week of events

Ramsay High School's multi-generational reunion week started with a church service in Birmingham Sunday.Graduates from different classes attended a worship service at Bryant Chapel AME Church, which is led by Ramsay graduate, Pastor Damien Littlejohn.As alumni prepare for a week filled with events, Angela Abdur-Rasheed, Ramsay graduate and member of the reunion administrative planning committee, said she's most looking forward to Saturday's picnic, which will be held at the high school."You get to see five generations of people come together," Abdur-Rasheed said. "Back at the school that we all walked those halls, we all had experiences there, and we get to come back enjoy each other, enjoy food and pictures and celebrations and memories and making new memories."
