Medics called after some Birmingham middle school students ingest gummies
Several students at Birmingham middle school were sent home with their parents after ingesting gummies.A spokesperson for the Birmingham City Schools system said paramedics were called to Smith Middle School on April 4 to evaluate four students after taking some of those gummies.The students were then released to their parents, and no hospital care was needed at that time.The spokesperson said the students are expected to be disciplined according to the code of conduct.No other information was available.
