Well, one man from the Burlington area is proof that age is purely just *** number this past weekend. At 94 years, young Bill Mitchell went skydiving for the very first time and he told me all about it sky today, man. Many of us have wondered what it would be like. But for 94 year old Bill Mitchell, the weight of that wonder is now over George Hw Bush jumped out of an airplane at 90 I said, if he can do it, I can do it. And with that wonderful jumping out of an airplane at 13,000 ft is exactly what he did. I really wanted to do it for many years. But my wife was just so adamantly opposed to it that, uh, I just, uh, never seriously considered it, but she passed away on March 5th of this year. She was 92 years old. We've been married 72.5 years. So when Bill turned 94 this past July, he made up his mind that he was ready to jump. Fantastic. Just the exhilaration of it. It was, it was just so wonderful, just floating down through the beautiful sky. It's hard to describe. It was just so exhilarating. Bill says he wasn't even scared out of the airplane, just kept going up, up, up and up and finally it leveled off at 13,000 ft. And I jumped and, and, uh, it was just nothing like it, the wind was blowing in my face and it was, it was just indescribable. It was just so wonderful. It really was. He'd even do it again when I hit the ground. Somebody said, would you do it again? I said, yeah, I'd do it again tomorrow. So whether you're 24 or in this case, 94 the takeaway here is that age really is just *** number. You just jumped out perfectly good plane. How cool was that? That was wonderful. You were fantastic. Bill. Oh my God, I've had today. I'll never have *** ride like this. Let me get *** high five bill. Excellent job partner. Quite the ride there. Bill, by the way is extremely active. He works out for an hour and *** half every day and he competes in the Burlington Senior Games each year. So far he has won 215 medals doing that. 189 of those are gold. As for his next adventure, he plans on taking *** hot air balloon ride and tells us that he cannot wait to do it.
