33 TO 0. ALL RIGHT. A SHOUT OUT TO THE CLASS FOUR, A REGION FIVE TITLE COULD BE ON THE LINE TOMORROW AS THE DORA BULLDOGS LOOK TO TOPPLE THE POWERHOUSE CORNER YELLOW JACKETS. AND RIGHT NOW BOTH SQUADS ARE UNDEFEATED IN CONFERENCE PLAY. BUT CORNER HAS THE TOP SPOT AFTER DORA HAD A HEARTBREAKING THREE POINT LOSS IN THEIR SEASON OPENER. AFTER THAT, THE DOGS HAVE BEEN DESTROYING THEIR COMPETITORS BY AN AVERAGE OF 28 POINTS PER GAME. CORNER MAY BE COMING IN WITH THE EDGE AFTER RUNNING UP AN AVERAGE 52 POINT GAME SO FAR. BUT HEAD COACH TRENT CAMPBELL SAYS THE KEY TO WINNING COMES DOWN TO CLEANLINESS. I THINK WE’RE IN A GOOD PLACE. WE’RE WE’RE A VERY EXPERIENCED GROUP, BUT WE JUST HAVEN’T BEEN QUITE AS SHARP AS I THINK THE COACHING STAFF WOULD LIKE US TO BE. UH, WE’VE, WE’VE, WE WERE, WE WERE VERY HEAVILY PENALIZED. A shot at the Class 4A Region 5 title could be on the line Friday as the Dora Bulldogs take on the Corner Yellowjackets in High School Huddle's Game of the Week.Right now, both squads are undefeated in conference play, but Corner holds the top spot after Dora's had a heartbreaking three-point loss in their season opener. However, the Bulldogs haven't let the loss get to them, destroying the rest of their competitors by an average of 28 points per game. Corner still has the edge so far this season, with the Yellow Jackets running up an average of 52 points a game, so far this season. Head coach Trent Campbell says the key to winning comes down to cleaning up the little mistakes. "I think we're in a good place," Campbell said. "We're a very experienced group, but we just haven't been quite as sharp as our coaching staff would like us to be. We were very heavily penalized the first couple of weeks of the season and really cut back on that last week, so that was exciting to see.
