Birmingham Christian Family Magazine hosts annual 'Celebrate the Family Expo'

Birmingham Christian Family Magazine put on its annual resource fair at the Finley Center in Hoover Saturday.The "Celebrate the Family Expo" aimed to meet the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of the community, according to Laurie Franklin, founder of Christian Family Publications and Birmingham Christian Family."We started Birmingham Christian Family 23 years ago," Franklin said. "The purpose of that publication was to share good news in our community, and this is just another way for us to be able to do that honestly in person. It's to continue that message and do it in a fun way." Families who attended Saturday's event got to check out cooking demonstrations, adopt pets and explore other community resources.
